"Road construction was a severe problem, but that is not the hotel's fault. The ONLY complaint I have about the room is the closet door... It does not latch closed. This is the 2nd time we've stayed at Homewood Suites in Lubbock. It was the same both times, 2 different rooms. The magnet does NOT hold the door closed. We had to place the trash can in front of it to keep it from swinging open, into the way. Just one other suggestion... You might consider putting an exhaust fan in the bathrooms. It gets quite steamy after a shower or bath. This would also help you by keeping down moisture damage to the bathroom. All in all, though, we were very well pleased with the room, the breakfast, the Monday-Thursday supper, the service, everything, even the complimentary cookies at the front desk. We will be looking for Homewood Suites when we travel and will definitely be back to the one in Lubbock."
